Interlining
| The interlinings are part of the seam and are used both for home and for making clothes. The interlinings serve to give more firmness to some part of the pieces of clothing such as shirt collars, pockets, corsets, skirt belts, eyelets, etc. They also give body to the lightweight fabrics and prevent the heavier ones from bending over themselves. When choosing the interlining, we must look at the type of fabric, the size of the embroidery, the density, the length of the stitches, and the use that will be given to the garment. Once chosen, we always recommend carrying out application tests to verify if all the steps are correct: adhesion, fall, result after washing, etc. |
